finally!

It is true

I am FINALLY painting the nursery!

Hopefully it'll be done by this weekend!

I'm all sorts of excited!!

On a side note

I was eating my cereal this morning...

like any typical morning

I had my large cereal bowl sitting on my belly

(+side to pregnancy...built in table!)

Well, obviously Mister didn't like the bowl resting on him

So

He kicked it off my tummy and made a mess of my clothes and couch.

Thanks baby

2 bags of fluid later...

Well, I'm in my 31st week. I thought I would feel different (a good different) once I hit my 30th week..ya know, only to know I had 10 weeks left. I was anticipating it kinda like Christmas. Well, after a week and now being at 31 weeks along, I feel like i'm still waiting for Christmas...still waiting for the weeks to get closer to 40 weeks. Only 9 weeks left..max! Yes that does feel pretty good, but still, not close enough. Although, we need the 9 weeks to prepare cuz lets be honest...the nursery...still not done. Remember how I said I would have it painted by this past weekend...well, there were some complications. So hopefully soon i'll get around to it.

On Wednesday I had a doctor appointment. Our little guy looked so cute in the ultrasound and we saw that his little head was down! yay..such good news for me!! Everything else looked great! Still on schedule for the 15th of September.

Well, on Thursday I started spotting and it lasted til Saturday. I really didn't think too much about it. I told my mom on Saturday and she said it was important to talk to my doctor first thing on Monday. That kinda got me concerned but our Mister was still moving like crazy and everything seemed normal.

Later on Saturday, I sat down for my lunch and suddenly, started throwing up.  I didn't even make it to the bathroom. I threw up a few more times and slept for the rest of the afternoon.  We were then invited to go to my sister in laws cabin and have a campfire and go canoeing at the payson lake. I was feeling a bit better so we left to go up. Blah. Big mistake. I felt sick the whole way up there.  I was so grateful to get out of the car. We enjoyed our evening and headed back home. We dropped off Tom and Sydney and when we got a  block away from there house. I started gagging. We hit a stop light and I told James I was going to throw up..and I did just that...right in the blanket I was wrapped in.  He quickly pulled into a parking lot and continued to loose everything in my stomach.  The poor side of my car :(  We finally got home and luckily I was able to sleep but Sunday morning I was sick again.  It was like everytime I wanted to eat something because I was hungry I would get sick and everytime I drank something, I would throw it up. I was physically weak, tired, hungry and oh so sick.
Well, today I called my doctor and told him about the light spotting I had over the weekend, and he asked if I would go in and see him.  When I got there they weighed me...down 4 pounds.  Then, he came in my room and started asking me all these questions.  He seemed so concerned (i still kinda felt silly going in a being checked because I really didn't think anything of it). he then did an ultrasound and saw that the Placenta was still fully attached and the baby was happy and healthy.  It was so cute. We could the Mister's mouth..and he was frowning (craven syndrome) and then he took the biggest yawn. It was seriously so cute. Even dr. h laughed and smiled.

During the ultrasound, Dr. H noticed the Mister is breached.  Great. Just 3 days ago he was head down. I asked him how long we have until he stays in the position he'll be at when he's born.  He said at about 32 weeks or so.  So I have one week to get this baby turned so that delivery will be heavenly.

After the ultra sound we went back into my room and he took some bacteria test to make sure that I didn't have a bacteria forming.  He then checked my cervix and everything looked good. P.s. that isn't as bad as a lot of women have made it out to be.  I  then told him how I had been sick and I didn't know if that had anything to do with everything going on. He looked at my cart and noticed the 4 pound weight loss and my urine sample.  He told me he'd like to start on IV and give me some fluids. He also put some Zofran in the IV which would help with the nausea.  After half of the first bag, he came in and asked if I had to go to the bathroom yet. I told him no. He was shocked that I didn't have to go. He kept saying how 'dry' I was.  He then gave me another bag of fluids and some more Zofran. He walked back in and said how I was getting color back in my skin and how much better I was doing.

Before I left the office, dr. h told me how happy he was I had come in. I am too. I am feeling so much better...besides being tired and dizzy from the medicine...but so grateful I went in!! I have an appetite again and can actually eat and drink! Hopefully this lasts...I hate feeling like i'm in my first trimester again...blah!

fun filled weekend

James and I had a great one year anniversary. James had to work during the day, but when he got home we went to dinner at Cheese Cake Factory. It was so nice to go out for a change.  After dinner, James took me to see the new Twilight movie! He was getting a kick out of all the girls that were there. I haven't decided how I feel about the movie it. It has the potential to be a gory film, but since vampires don't have blood...there isn't any blood, just heads being cut off. Anyways, it turned out to be a great night.

The next night I remembered we didn't cut our wedding cake or watch our wedding video. blast, I fail. So last night I took our cake out of our freezer and  hopefully we will do that sometime soon. ha.

This is the only picture we have on our anniversary.  James was in the middle of telling me the pictures in the car a dumb...ha

The next 2 days we spent up at Pineview. It was so much fun! I wanted to get out wakeboarding but everyone told me it probably wasn't the smartest idea. So I stayed in the boat and took pictures. Here are some of everyone

This picture is really funny. Scotty was on the tube and suddenly the cover come off the tube. He was just stranded there! haha

We also had a really good 4th of July (sorry no pictures).  I was up in cville for the parade. I loved loved loved it!!! It was so good and so entertaining.  Later that night we went to Wright's and had a small bbq get together.  Afterwards, we went home and sat on our back porch and watched the Thanksgiving Point Fireworks.  Having a huge fireworks show in your backyard is always fun!! Then on sunday we went to baby Paul's baby blessing then headed to my parents for a old fashion bbq. it was so much fun being able to spend the weekend with our families! I love holidays!
