Home Sweet Home

I LOVE where we are living! Me and James moved to the top floor of a house in Lehi. I was luckily enough to marry into the greatest family. The house we moved into use to be owned by James' sister and brother in law and once they moved out they started renting it out. We got a phone call a few weeks before the wedding from Mike (James' brother in law) and he said that the man on the top floor is moving out and that if we want to rent the 3 bedroom, 2 bath place..we could. And you best believe we took the offer!! The house is only about 5 years old so everything is up to date. It is also in the greatest location! Two freeway entrances, TARGET!! Walmart, Albertsons, ROSS!! Bed, Bath and Beyond, Restaurants and anything else we need!

I took some pictures of what we've done so far!

(Yes, that is a card table...the perks of being newlyweds!)

The entertainment center
(The old TV didn't fit...)

...So we bought a new one!
(and yes, the TV didn't fit in the car so it rode on my lap the whole way home)

As you can see, there is still a lot we need to do to finish making our house into a home, but at least we are off to a good start! We are going to be painting the kitchen this week, switch some of the bedding, get some couches, hang pictures, and get the guest bedrooms put together. Once I get some more projects completed...I'll post more pictures!

Puerto Vallarta...Honeymoon Style

James and I were so lucky to be able to go to Puerto Vallarta for 7 days for our Honeymoon. It was so relaxing to be able to sleep in, sit by the pool, swim in the ocean, sight see, go waterfall jumping, go into town, listen to the rain, walk the beach during sunset and just be together.

We got married on that Tuesday and stayed in Park City for a few days until we left for Mexico on Friday. It actually worked out perfectly because the night of the wedding I started to get the stomach flu! (GREAT first couple of days!) It was so not fun! Luckily I married the greatest guy in the world! He just sat with me while I cried telling him how I ruined our honeymoon. I could not believe somebody could be that sick! Luckily I started getting better the morning we flew to Mexico. So, once again, Mexico was SO nice and SO relaxing!

Here are some pictures of our fun time in Mexico!

Engagements

Now, I know I have been married for a month now, but I still don't have the copyrights to our wedding photos yet, so the engagements will have to do for now. Here are a few of our favorites. If anybody is looking for a photographer for ANY occasion, I would HIGHLY recommend Adilfa Ford. You can check her out, along with some of my bridals at www.donpolo.com
