My Little Sitter

We had such a nice and relaxing weekend.

We enjoyed General Conference in the comfort in our home.

It was weird to think that last Conference, in October, Lincoln was only 2 weeks old.
And now he's 6 and a half weeks! ek!

When the opening song was being sung in the Saturday Afternoon Session

I was just finishing up some emails when I stopped to look at Lincoln.

He's been doing this 'lean and sit' for a couple of weeks now.

Well, as I was watching him, he suddenly moved his arm that was supporting him and sat up and continued playing with his toy!

I was seriously speachless!

I was completely amazed!

My little man sat up all by himself!
And he'll stay sitting up!

He could sit up with our help- we'd get him in the position and have to be right by him to keep him from falling over.

YAY!

Saturday night during the Priesthood session
the girls: mom, kelli, tara, melissa, and lex

all got together for some yummy dinner at the Bluelemon.

If you haven't eaten there, you must! it was so yummy.

Anyways - Lincoln had another milestone

He stay in the big boy high chair and loved it!

I just can't get over how fast my little guy has grown up.

Seriously - when he hit 6 months (2 weeks ago)

He hit so many milestones!

Here is a video of Lincoln crawling/scooting/cheating :)
He makes me laugh so hard. He's been pulling his knees up then he'll drop his body and scoot. This video is really the first time he's done like 3 crawl steps! So proud of my little guy. Any day now he'll hopefully be really crawling. But at least he's still getting around doing it his way!

He growing up way too fast for me.

But I have to admit

I'm Loving It!

The Dinosaur Museum

We have had such a great couple of weeks!
Jana and her kids were in town and we played non stop!
We had lots of play dates, went shopping, eat lots, hot tubbed, had sleep overs, movie nights, sick days, and many adventures.

Since we did so much - here is the post about the Dinosaur Museum.

On Wednesday the girls and the kids came down to Lehi so we could go to the Dinosaur Museum.  Kaid loves dinosaurs so this was a must!

Jayci on the other hand didn't like it. She was scared of the BIG Dinosaurs. My mom tried to tell her that they aren't real and that they won't hurt her. Jayci replied by saying, "oh, so they are just fossils? Did you know fossils are like bones?" Seriously, what 4 year old says that?!

After a couple hours at the Museum we walked over the Thanksgiving Point's deli. Yummy! As we were eating lunch I randomly looked up and guess who walked past us?! Just guess...okay, you may not be able to guess unless you read it on Jana's Facebook Status.  Michele...crazy Michele from the Bachelor!! She was meeting some guys for lunch..go figure.  We all walked past the window where we could see her multiple times. Even though she's crazy - it was still fun seeing her! Oh, and she's super skinny! Jana didn't think it was her because of how skinny she was - well folks, she's lost weight!

Anyways - after the Museum we went to Gardner Village. It was SO nice! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed walked around with the kids and enjoyed doing a little window shopping. I cannot wait to Spring is here to stay. (boo for snow tomorrow)

St. Patty's Day

March 17th - Saint Patty's Day is suppose to be Lucky Right?!

Luck of the Irish MY EYE!!

Here is how our day went...

We woke up around our normal time 8. I went to go get Lincoln his breakfast when we saw that the leprechaun had stopped by our house in the middle of the night! Did he come visit you??

He filled our shoes with gold. yumm!

After our breakfast we dressed in our green! Thanks Grandpa C for the cutest sweatshirt ever!!!

Then we ventured out to Lincoln's 6 month doctor appointment. (i'm going to do a post about his accomplishments at 6 months and stats - just you wait) He is one healthy boy!

After his poor shots, the nurse came in and brought me his vaccine card. He left and and turned to put the paper in my diaper bag when I turned around and saw Lincoln rolling off the doctors table. I quickly turned and grabbed his ankle in hopes to catch him before he hit the floor - but BAM - I was too late. He started screaming and screaming. I rocked him and he started to settle down. I felt so so so bad!!! I should have let the doctor look at him, but I felt so embarrassed and felt like the worse mother in the world that I couldn't do it. Luckily he was fun :)

Moments before the fall

After the doctors we went to go pick up my sister in Cottonwood Heights and then we were heading up to Salt Lake to go to Discovery Gateway.

As we were stopped at the light, getting ready to get onto I-215, a big dodge ram decided he didn't need to stop behind us! He crashed right in the back of us. I quickly pulled over, undid my seatbelt and ran to the back door.  The man got out of his truck and asked if I was okay as I was opening up the back door to the car.  I replied that I was fine but that my infant was in the back seat.  Seriously, that was the scariest thing in the whole world - having your child in the back seat when you get hit from behind.  Luckily, Lincoln was fine and there we no tears (from him..me on the other hand...)

My car got a bit banged up.  His heavy duty truck was just fine. (blah) Luckily it was his fault so he will be paying for repairs.  As for us - we are just fine.  I had some whiplash this past week and it's starting to get better.

After that nice little accident we finally headed up to Salt Lake.  We had a great time at Discovery Gateway.  Jana's kids loved it!

Me and my mom and Kelli decided we would take a trip to Anthropology.  I made my day a little better by buying me some new boots! and I LOVE THEM!!!

On Friday we ventured up to Park City to do a little Outlet shopping. At the first store we got to, Lincoln wasn't able to keep his bottle down and threw it all up. Luckily, we were at The Children's place and my mom bought Linc a new, clean shirt. Thanks mom!
Then later as we were leaving the outlets, Lincoln threw up again so he was now down to just his diaper.  Poor guy. Fortunately he had his cute green sweatshirt so he wore that the rest of the day while we did some laundry at at my moms.

I'm sorry - but he is so stinkin cute!
